Calypso Communications takes on the Iron Design Challenge!

April 7, 2009 - The New Hampshire Creative Club announced today that that Portsmouth based marketing firm Calypso Communications has agreed to compete in the NHCC's 2009 Iron Design Challenge to be held at Print Savvy, 55 So. Commercial Street in Manchester, NH on May 19th. The competitors will be asked to provide marketing strategy and creative branding to a 'mystery' product or service that will only be shared with them at the start of the event. Each team will have just one hour before presenting their plan to the audience. Attendees can witness the creative teams in action, while they brainstorm and develop their strategy and the audience is then asked to judge the best creative team.

"The spirit of Iron Design is exactly what any creative community needs and I am happy to be a part of it" stated Mike Teixeira, Calypso's Creative Director. "Every once in awhile I think it's important that we take off our 'gun-for-hire' six shooters and do something outside our comfort zone, expose ourselves to new ideas and dynamics and recharge the creative batteries that fuels the really exciting work when we get back to our real jobs."
